The hands behind the finish.
JWS Home Improvement is the work of Jake Weir — a journeyman drywall finisher and professional painter serving homeowners across Nova Scotia.
A trade built on the details people live with.
Jake Weir is a journeyman drywall finisher and professional painter with five years of trade experience. JWS Home Improvement was founded on a simple idea: the finish is what people see and live with every day, so it deserves to be done properly.
Because drywall, painting, and woodwork are handled as one scope, a project moves from rough to finished without the gaps that appear when trades hand off. The work is done to a standard — flat walls, clean lines, even coats, and woodwork that fits.
